Re: Question about breast Biopsy

I am looking to know every detail that anybody is will to share. I know it is personal. Why were you prescribed the procedure? Where did u have it done? What is painful? Were they able to perform it from the first try or did they make a few trials? Any complications?

Thank you

Re: Question about breast Biopsy

Why were you prescribed the procedure?
I went for the procedure because of an enlarged lymphnode. They did an ultrasound guided fine needle biopsy. I went for 2 sonograms prior before they decided to do the bio.

Where did u have it done?
Zwanger Pesiri (?) in Massapequa

What is painful?
They gave me local anesthetics ahead in the area of the biopsy. I didnt feel much, it was just very scary and uncomfortable because they were searching in my armpit and the side of my breast. The lymph node kept moving around so they were digging in there quite a bit

Were they able to perform it from the first try or did they make a few trials?
They did it on the first try... after awhile of finding the exact spot.. I won't say that I had the best experience. I blame it on the dr. in charge.

Any complications?
Tender afterwards.. Nothing major thankfully...

HTH!!
