re: Favors did you give them out at the end of the night or did you have them on everyone's tables?
we are debating b/c someone pointed out to me that when you start handing out favors--everyone will start to form a receiving line (which i have seen many times) and then you lose at least an hour from dancing & having a good time sine you are saying goodnight to everyone...
we are definitely going to go around all the tables & say hello, thankyou for coming, etc....so i think that guests sholdn't be offended if we don't hand out the gifts one by one. alos, people leave at different times of the night--so i really don't want to have to worry about running to get the gift before they leave if i'm dancing or talking to someone else...
what did you do??? what should i do?
help!!!

Re: Question about favors!! (somewhat LONG)
I attached the place cards to the favor and the reception hall placed them in alphabet order on a table outside the room. This solved the favor stealers! and I didnt have to hand them out either

Re: Question about favors!! (somewhat LONG)
MY bridal party and my mother handed them out. Mine were individually labled. I suggest you make extras, because you may have a tacky guesy or two who take more than one. I went to my SIL house, and she had two

Re: Question about favors!! (somewhat LONG)
I put them on the table. I hoped that our guests could do the math and deduce that it was a favor per couple or single person. A few people said they didnt get one but I never determined if it was that they forgot to take one or that someone pirated two. I had extras - it was mainly my Moms friends so she just gave them an extra afterwards. I think its too 'busy' for you afterwards to be distributing them and ppl do leave at different times. If they come to say goodbye to you and you are dancing or chatting with someone else...you have to go run and get them a favor? I vote for putting them on the table and having faith that it will all work out.
