Question about rings...

Question about rings...

Do you wear yours together? I have a beautiful round brilliant solitaire in plat that I take great care of....and my wedding band is 1/2 way around eternity w/ diamonds in plat and now that I wear them together my e-ring is developing a scratched look on the inside. I know no one will see it but me but it bothers me! The jeweler said he can polish it out but it would happen again.

Anyone else?? I'm thinking of maybe wearing them apart...

I just wear my diamond wedding band now. I don't wear the e-ring. Too bulky, and I don't like feeling it when I wash my hands. I'm weird.

I only wear my wedding band! Unless we are going 'out' like a wedding,shower, nice dinner etc. I have an eternity band and the setting on my Ering has diamonds on the side so when you put them together its just too many diamonds... I feel its too flashy together to wear every day

I do wear them apart sometimes. My DH bought me a beauitful solitare ring and my wedding band was my mom's, so they weren't picked out together. They do look nice together, but my mom's was repaired and sized at a different time than the E-ring.

So sometimes, especially in cold weather when the rings fit a little looser, they spin on my finger in opposite directions and it drives me nuts. The stone on my E-ring ends up in the palm of my hand! That is when I will wear the E-ring on my right hand. I also sometimes just like wearing my E-ring seperately, because I think it is prettier by itself.

Huh...thanks! I was getting some negative reactions to...gasp!...wearing them apart. The e-ring looks so pretty alone, too....

I had my wedding ring made from the same cast that DH had my e-ring made from...so they are meant to be together. However, I would be upset if my ring was getting scratched...try moving your ering...see if you can get used to it.

I mostly just wear my wedding band, if I wear my e-ring it is on the same finger.

I wear them together too, but they're getting scratched! I should wear the e-ring on my right hand. It just feels weird to me.
But it does look so much prettier on its own.

i had this problem too the band would spin around and scratch the e-ring. plus then the diamonds in the band didn't line up with the ones on the sides of the e-ring. it drove me nuts so i got mine soddered (sp?) together. now the diamonds always match up and the e-ring isn't getting scratched.

I wear both my diamond rings together when we go out. I had my diamond band custom made to fit my e-ring. I have a plain band that I wear alone during the week at work. I lost a stone out of my wedding band my first month at my new job so we bought a band that matches my DH's for me to wear to work.
