When you girls wrote our your thank yous, did you use several different words to describe the gifts (thoughtful or generous) or did you just put the same wording. Some people gave us thoughtful gifts, some generous and some very generous. We had no non-gifters at all. Is it rude to describe someone's gift as thoughtful and not generous?

Re: Question about thank you cards...
My brain was so fried when it came to doing the TY cards. I did a search on-line for TY sayings & picked out 4 I liked. Two where used for regular gifts, 1 was used for those who gave us a really great gift & the other was for small gifts & people who just attended the ceremony.

Same, except for actual gifts, I put what the gift was.......i.e. 'Thank you so much for the crystal stemware.........'

Yeah for specific gifts I thanked them for the actual gift and then said that 'we appreciate your thoughtfulness' or something along those lines lol i forgot
