Re: Question for the newlyweds?

GIRLS----THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH
I decided to get the longer veil and they said that i can actually 'bustle' the veil for the reception! Have you ever heard of this? After reading all the posts I am DEFINITELY going to try to wear it through the reception! The only thing is that I plan on wearing my hair down and not in an updo so the veil may be a little more of a nuisance than if my hair were up and it were attached to the bun (if that makes sense).

I looked back at your pictures to see how it would look and they all looked so BEAUTIFUL....THANKS FOR YOUR HELP AGAIN

Re: Question for the newlyweds?

not sure if this is too late, but i took my veil off after the ceremony and replaced it with a huge orchid. and i had my hair half up half down. was glad that i did this because for the short time i wore it, the veil kept pulling down my hair whenever someone hugged me! good luck!

Re: Question for the newlyweds?

I had a three layer veil, catherdral length, finger-tip veil and a blusher. I wore the finger-tip veil all night.

Originally I thought I would take the veil off - but I felt so pretty in it that I decided why not!

Re: Question for the newlyweds?

I took my veil off for teh reception. I only had a cathedral veil, and I was ready for it to go after pictures were done.

Re: Question for the newlyweds?

I was going back and forth, but in the end decided to wear one and for the entire day. I'm glad I did - I figured when else can I wear a veil?! It was very comfortable - just attached to the the comb.
