Question for the newlyweds....need advice on first dance & what to do with train

did you 'hold' your dress or bustle it for your first dance??? My seamstress put a loop to hold it as well as the bustle....

I held mine...I loved the way it looked in pictures. I took if off right after the first dance..mine wasnt able to be bustled..it was removeable.

I (well Theresa, my sis and my other BM did) bustled it once we got to the hall...

I bustled mine! Make sure she puts an extra secure loop in too! You wouldn't want that to break...

My seamstress made a bustle for my long train. After our formal portaits at our reception site, we had a our introduction and first dance. I didn't need to hold my bustle in my hand as my train was comfortable in a bustle to manuver while dancing. I was so happy that I felt like walking on water!

i bustled that puppy up right before we walked out. It was so much easier!

i bustled it as soon as i could - once we were done with picutres,. its was up - no way do i have the coordination to lug ti around neatly all night (and i kept tripping myself up with it dragging behind me....!)
