Re: Question for those that have designed albums already...
Ok, here's a follow up question:How many pictures did you have in your album?
We had 58, so I had the room to do them...and that's the main reason why I decided to.
What was your reasoning for not doing them?

Re: Question for those that have designed albums already...
we had 66 photos in our album...we had a very large bridal party and it would take up too many pages...i figured one group shot, 1 of all girls, 1 of all boys, 1 of me with moh and 1 of my husband with bm was plenty.

Re: Question for those that have designed albums already...
I don't plan to include pics of the them walking down. I have a pic of me and the girls, DH and the men, and the whole BP together. There will only be 50 pix in my album, so we're kind of space-limited.

Re: Question for those that have designed albums already...
I don't have any specific reason. They just weren't pictures I wanted in the album - the BP was in plenty of other shots. The walking down the aisle shots didn't scream 'put me in the album!'It wasn't necessarily a matter of not having enough pictures. We added to our album for any additional pictures we wanted.

Re: Question for those that have designed albums already...
I have 80 pics in my album, and I did not include BP walking down b/c I felt it was redundant. I had already included pics of my BM w/me in earlier pages, so I did not feel it was necessary to highlight them again. Also, I did not have the BM and GM walk up the aisle together - the women entered alone.

Guess I am out of the norm (along with Teri
) because we did the same as her. 4 pics, of the couples walking in and then the MOH by herself, I love it like that because I wasn't there to see all their pretty faces walk in!! I like the coupling of the 4 pics too, it just works.

I also didn't include pics of the bp walking down the aisle - just group shots

Re: Question for those that have designed albums already...
Now I feel like I should have just left them out.But if I can, I'm going to change them to collages on fewer pages..and then add other pics.
*sigh* it's never-ending...

Misty - don't change your mind based on what we did or didn't do. Do what YOU want!I found it helped a lot to pick my pictures and then live with that decision for awhile before finalizing anything. My choices definitely changed somewhat after I got a little distance.

I am not including those photos. I like a lot of the other shots much better.

Re: Question for those that have designed albums already...
I feel the same way as Lisa - give yourself TIME to make this decision. When it's so recent after the wedding, you want to include ALL the pics (it's only natural). But, once there's a little time between you and the event, you have a MUCH different perspective. I told this to Michele too, after I had gone through the experience.

I put them in as a collage but I dont think its something you HAVE to do. If you like those particular photos, then great. If those photos didnt jump out at you, Im sure the bridal party is more than covered elsewhere.Opening Ceremony Page

Claud was right too. There are many photos I still love but find that they don't need to be included in the album. Also, it really depends on whether those shots are your favorite or not. I like other BP photos much better so I would rather use those. It is really just a personal preference. There is NO right or wrong here.

Re: Question for those that have designed albums already...
We didn't include BP walking in shots - mainly because I don't have them! Another thing my photographer decided to not shoot. But even if he did, I wouldn't have put them in. I have other BP shots that I love much more and those were included in our album.
I think we have about 50 or 55 shots in our album. I don't remember right now.

Re: Question for those that have designed albums already...
my photographer took all of them walking down but I felt it was a waste to include them all since I did several of all of us, so if we did all of them walking its kind of repetitivewe had 56 and I bumped it up too 64 or 66 at the album planning meeting
if you have the same shot of everyone walking down that is four more pages you can have of other favorites unless you up them all on one page, which of course as you know is an 'extra'

Re: Question for those that have designed albums already...
We ended up with 61 pics in our album - we didnt use the bp walking in the church or the reception because they werent that good.....we used several group shots, and each of us alone with BP before cerermony. We also included 2 table shots of them (FH wanted it - I didnt, he is very traditional, he wanted a white album but I won and got dark brown leather) -- I would say go with your gut,,,,and take some time too. If they are good pics, use them.

Re: Question for those that have designed albums already...
We got our wedding party members paired together walking when introduced. Our photographer took shots at each couple's moment. We got most of the photos into our album enlarged on each page 8' X 10' size. Our photographer studio charges extra fees for having 2 small photos on one page like a collage to fit which we avoided the extra costs. If you can afford the extra fees of having 2 small collage photos on one page--go for it. Sure it looks very nice, unique but can be costly.Welcome New Vendors
