Question for those who lived in/grew up in/bought a house in Levittown

If you had a washer/dryer or only washer, where was/is it in your house?

My Uncle lived in Levittown and his washer/dryer was right off of the kitchen...

My aunt lives in Levittown the washer/dryer used to be in her kitchen(that may have been 20 years ago). They have since done an extension and it is in a closet off the den which used to be the garage.

I grew up in Levittown - my washer is in the kitchen and the dryer is in the converted garage.

my grandparents house was in the old levitz houses. They had a hook up in the hallway. You would walk into the house kitchen then a hallway nad down that hallway in between the two bedrooms they put a washer, no dryer (from what I remember) my grandma liked to air dry things.

my sis just bought a house in Levittown last year- right now they have their washer in the kitchen and their dryer in the garage.....not exactly ideal......they plan on either running a water line into the garage and moving the washing machine in there or putting both of them upstairs in what is currently a closet.
