Question for you girls on the pill....

I was on the pill for 10 years and then gave my body an 8 month rest. I have just started taking the pill and been on for two weeks. I am using Femconn, but I am a little nervous because I have been bleeding since Sunday. A little less than normal but more than spotting. Does this seem normal? Is my body just adjusting. I have an appt to see dr in a month, should I call sooner, or just wait. Thanks!

If it's something you don't feel right about, I would call my doctor.

Sometimes they say you will bleed or have spotting, but I never did. I would call your doctor, but you probably are ok until your appointment, but I would call to be sure.

i would call the doctor. it could be your actual period even though you're on the pill. people's cycles can be very wacked after getting off the pill. it might not have regulated yet and now you're back on so it may just be you're body is confused with all the changes.

im no doctor but spotting and other side effects are very common in the first 3-4 mos of adjustment. i got it every single month at the same time for the first 3-4 mos of adjusting to loestrin and then it completely stopped. my gyno said no worries. that being said, if youre very concerned, maybe you could just call and mention it to the nurse or leave a msg for your doctor.

it's just breakthrough bleeding.. wear a pantyliner, you should be ok in a few days!!
