Now that I'm a newlywed too (YIPPEE) wondering if you guys have any regrets about your wedding day? Or if there was 1 thing you could do differently, what is it and how would you do it differently?
I personally- would just make sure I got all the pictures I wanted. I'm so bummed that I missed some!

Re: Question for you ladies?
There is a thread about this very topic that was asked a little while ago.
you know...there were things that I 'regretted' (although very few)...but as time passes...they don't even cross my mind...now when I think of it...I just remember the good things and how great it was...

Re: Question for you ladies?
At first I didn't let the tiny things that didn't go as smoothly as I planned bother me.......but for some reason this week there are a few things I wish I did just a bit differently thinking that things would have turned out a bit smoother. crazy huh?? why am I letting these things bother me this week??

Re: Question for you ladies?
Hi Michelle! Great question!!!
Let's see, there are NOT too many things I regret but here's a few:
1 - I wish I got all the pics I requested as well. I am SOOOO happy with my photographer, but some things on my list she just ignored
2 - I wish Rhapsody played more. I guess it's tough with an ethnic band and American band, but the other band seemed to have played more...
Oh well, can't go back and change them now.
OH one more thing - I wish I didn't let myself get so aggravated once I realized I was hearing too much of the other band. I hope my grumpy face is NOT on video
OH here's another - I wish I KNEW how short Daddy's Little Girl was, my dad was so upset (me too) because it was just WAY TOO SHORT!
Whew ok, that's it!

Re: Question for you ladies?
I feel a little better seeing that I'm not the only one w/ a regret or 2..
Andrewschick- you look amazing! Congrats by the way!!! I didn't see any of your pictures, or post of a review- I'm sorry I missed it!
Lauren- I hear ya girl! I'm sure your video & your facial expressions will be nothing but smiles!
My Main regret if it's not the missing photos- it's that I didn't put my foot down w/ my family more. People thought that my wedding was about them & did what they wanted and were down right rude. Mind you- this was MY OWN FAMILY! You really do learn a lot about people planning a wedding....

Re: Question for you ladies?
My only regret is probably my photographer. It's not so much a regret but a 'if I had more $$ and I could do 1 thing differently it would have been my photographer'. I like my proofs so far but I didn't have the same reaction as I have in the past with some of the pictures I've seen on this board. Other than that my day was 110% perfect!!!!!!!!

Re: Question for you ladies?
Jenn- thanks a bunch! There are so many new newlyweds over here!!!! LOVE IT! Bring home the Sept & Oct brides... and now... NOV. brides..
Curly- I didn't have a lot of $$$$$ - trust me. I didn't get an album yet- and probably will have to wait a long time for that. Plus, I didn't get the highest level photographer from MK- I didn't think that one level lower was going to produce horrible pictures, ya know? I'm sure your proofs are magnificant! have you scanned them? posted? Am I missing the post?????????? I'd love to see them!

Re: Question for you ladies?
I posted this before, but I wish I had thought to have a conversation with the Pastor.
He made DH faceforward as I walked down the aisle. For the life of me I do not know why he did this. So my DH did not see me as I walked down only when I got up to the altar.

Re: Question for you ladies?
I had a few little regrets. The biggest is definitely the shots that the photographer did not get. I can defintely relate to what Curly said too. Overall, I was thrilled with my day. I honestly find myself thinking very hard to answer this question. About a month after the wedding I could have given you such a long list, mostly of stupid stuff. Just know it all fades with time-its only been 6 months and I don't care about it anymore.

Re: Question for you ladies?
I missed some photos too (seems a lot of us have this) But in my case it was my own fault, I didn't give a list, I didn't give specifics, All I said was 'make it romantic' I can barely remember now 5 mos later which pics I didn't get

Re: Question for you ladies?
Well, I got married LAST WEEK, and even though i had a beautiful wedding, I have some major regrets! i want a 'do-over'!
1. i would have DEFINITELY picked a different florist - should have gone with my gut instinct from the beginning. i was VERY disappointed!
2. i would have MADE SURE that ric mango didn't play the SAME CD during ALL of his breaks (people told me they heard the same song THREE TIMES from the same CD).
3. i would have spent more time telling ric mango what songs to play and INSIST that he play them. even today, driving around, i heard songs that i just knew i should have told me to play
4. i would have researched more than two photographers. mine only stayed until 9:15 - wedding ended at 10:30!!
5. i would have done more to honor my dad (he passed away a few years ago).
6. i would have made more of an effort (even though i was CONSTANTLY getting pulled in every which direction) to tell my brothers how honored i was that they were walking me down the aisle.
7. i would have eaten!

Re: Question for you ladies?
I regreted a few things but as others have said as the weeks and months go by all i really remember is what a great time we and everyone had.
We also were missing a few pictures that we wanted but no fault of my photographer it was my stupid family that showed up late to the wedding. They fought me and fought me about how long it would take to get to the reception hall and all I can say is I was right
Also I would have hired a day of coordinator. Since my family was useless as was my MOH (my sister) I had to handle alot of things myself and I was checking on everything (i'm very anal) a thousand times before the ceremony and reception. If i hired someone I would have been a little more relaxed i think.
