Does anyone else feel like their advice is outdated? I mean, I was planning so long ago that companies have changed, personnel has changed, prices and packages and policies have changed, etc.

Re: Question for you ladies
Yes, for some things. I know prices at my hall have cahnge d& policies at my photgrapher have changed, but the staff is still the same, so I can comment on that for a little longer & mostly I stick to the 'Which ( fill in the blank) do you like better ?'threads!
My opinion is never outdated!

Re: Question for you ladies
I definitely feel like my advice is outdated. I started planning my wedding in the summer of 2002, so I'm pretty far removed from this stuff. I've mostly moved on to LIF and don't post here much anymore.

Yes because I barely remember names of banquet managers and things like that, prices, phone #s, etc. I can however, help with my opinions and advice!

Re: Question for you ladies
Yes for certain things, especially in terms of prices, reception halls (I haven't visited halls since 2003), etc.
But there's still alot of advice I feel I can offer related to how the day goes, timing, relationship issues, and of course, what I used or did.
I remember that when I was planning, I valued a BTDT bride's advice so much more, so I still try to help where I can even though alot of the questions and issues I really can't relate to anymore.

Re: Question for you ladies
I feel like I can comment on what I liked and didn't about my vendors, but the prices are outdated, I am sure. I post a lot about the church stuff, my particular hall and ideas for gifts and things like that.
