Just wondering-did most of the people not coming to your wedding send a gift of some sort?

Re: Question from almost newlywed!
With a few exceptions, the people that did not come, did not send gifts.

Re: Question from almost newlywed!
Yes, many who RSVP 'will not attend' did send a monetary or wrapped gift. Others just sent a card but no gift of any format. To me, a card is better than receiving nothing. We sent TY to anyone who sent a card (with or without a gift). The remainder who RSVP 'will not attend' returned their RSVP but no gift of any form and no card. Just rude.

Close friends and family who could not attend did send a gift but people that were not as close did not.

Re: Question from almost newlywed!
our closer relatives send checks, and one or two had something from the registry shipped to us. We were very grateful for those, since it's technically not necessary. Our friends who couldn't attend didn't send us anything.
