Re: questionof the day 3/29/11
I was hoping he would separate from his mom's boob after the wedding and was looking forward to that. To my surprise, he actually did and supports me with a lot more then he used to when it comes to his mother and her little comments!

Re: questionof the day 3/29/11
1) eating whatever I wanted without worrying about fitting into a dress
2) being able to carry a whole conversation without it turning into wedding talk.

Re: questionof the day 3/29/11
changing my name. how silly is that?
to me it always signified something so special, you know? that now i am really, truly #1 in someone's life above all else. even though i got stuck with a crappy new last name i still ran out and changed my name as quickly as possible.

having money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS!!!
Having money and more free time to do the things we want to do, not the things we are obligated to do. We always say 'I can't wait until we get our life back.'
Oh and this might seem silly, but I totally looked forward to hearing DH call me his wife or telling people he's my husband. Sure, it might not even register as anything on other peoples' scales, but it definitely still makes my stomach flip when I hear it lol

aww, that's so sweet, Mer!
I have yet to change my name ... i'm just soooo freakin' lazy!
to answer the QOTD- DH and I had a lot of issues with our families during the planning process so it's nice to not have that stress anymore.

Honestly- DH and I fought a lot more during wedding planning. We went to bed angry a LOT. It's nice not to be at each other's throats anymore!
