Random ? Has anyone ever made a bundt cake?

If so, do you feel it takes longer to bake than in a standard cake pan?

I think they usually take about 50 minutes. Mary MOB


Whoa!!!! I googled, and some take about one hour to bake!!!!!

yes they do take longer, about an hour is right but sometimes longer

Yeah usually about an hour. Make sure you grease it well and let it cool in the pan for 10-15 min. Good luck!

Cake came out great! Was a hit @ the brunch and SO easy to make. It was a Banana, Chocolate Chip Sour Cream Cake.

One package of vanilla cake mix
4 eggs
1/3 water
1/3 oil
8 ounces sour cream
1 package of instant banana pudding
one small package of chocolate chips
mix all ingredients together (minus chips) and stir well
flour the chocolate chips so they don't sink to the bottom and then mix in at the end

pour into greased bundt pan and bake for one hour...

MMM, delicious!

Thanks for your tip! I was kinda 'winging' the recipe and wasn't sure how long to keep it in for. I know whenever you give a cooking tip, it's the right thing to do!

Haha thanks! I try my best. I have to be honest though I wing most of my cooking. I'm totally making that recipe sounds so yummy.
