Did any of you get your 'executive MBA' (as opposed to regular MBA), or know of anyone who has?

I thought the EMBA was meant for executives who did not have the time to do the regular mba. Its more intensive, ie longer classes and weekends, and I think it must be completed in less than 2 yrs

I believe my SIL (brother's wife) got her EMBA...she went to Columbia and did a joint program with the London School of Business.
Whatever program she took she wound up traveling to China, Russia and Africa for it.
She lives in CT and did the program. I can find out more info if you'd like.

I am getting my MBA right now.. and to be honest I really don't know the difference... I just know for an EMBA you need a certain number of years experience and a certain level at your job (i believe). I had 5 years work experience before applying and I didnt even make it in to the accelerated program (48 credits vs 60 credits).
