random question--place to hem jeans?

this is totally random but i really need new jeans and i have a hard time finding them since i'm not only plus sized but short! i'd love to find a place that can hem my jeans without them looking hemmed once they are done. i'm looking for a place that will put the ORIGINAL hem back on. i hope that makes sense.

does anybody know a place like this? preferably in the city or in nassau. thanks in advance!!

Oh I've got the place for you! Are you close enough to New Hyde Park...right by Lake Success?

I have a place in Bayside...he does and AMAZING job hemming jeans and leaves the original seam, doesn't look like anything has been altered.

Steve the European Tailer, on 48th Avenue.

There's a small taylor on Union Tpke, just west of Lakeville Road called Enzo's. They reuse the original seam if you ask them to and you would NEVER know that they were hemmed! They are really reasonably priced and the Italians there are so nice!

Be careful here, someone i know brought their jeans here and he lost them...she had the receipt that said 6 jeans and she only got 5 back...she had to fight with him and it was a nightmare...the jeans he lost were 260 dollars.
When she was so upset about it, he told her not to cry its not like someone died
