Ready to get into shape....anyone go go GOLD's Gym?

DH and I are getting ready to get in shape and get back on track with diet and exercise so last night we joined GOLD's Gym in East Northport. One step in the right direction, right?

Anyone go to this gym?

I belong to Health & Racquet Club which is across my building at work but too busy (or lazy) to go. I'll start next year!!!

Have fun with you work-out!!

looks like they have lots of good classes -- Nick and I are going tonight for the first time. I o need to get back into some sort of routine. I feel so much better after going to the gym

i know what yuo mean.. Maybe after the holidays I'll start again.

When I saw Gold's I was so excited that is the gym I go to (well I don't actually go but I pay a lot every month to not go to) . I go to the one in Islip or Deer Park I thought i found my work out buddy.

Sorry -- I know I need a workout buddy too for when DH doesn't want to go with me or decides to workout on his lunch break instead -- which will probably be the case often enough

I aloways struggled to get my butt there at night... lunch hour is so much nicer, but I wouldn't have the time... Maybe thats why I never stayed going, I always went alone.

I don't know how people can work out on their lunch break. When I do actually go to the gym I suffer about 5 mini heart attacks and just looking at a treadmill makes me sweat. No one would want to work with me I would be a sweaty betty. Today i wearing tights and the thought of putting them on after an hour on the trwadmill ewww

Hmm maybe I will start going at lunch I'll lose weight and my work load will be a lot less. I think we may be on to something here.

Do they have daycare? I would love to go with you, debting on if I can fit a gym into my shedule since I moved!

Need to get in shape!

They do have day care Ryan -- the lady kept asking us if we needed daycare and we were like not yet
