Really????? I might have the worst luck in the world! update at bottom

So i got an email from our banker:
here it is:

This morning, I was disgusted with the slow pace of your loan in addition to three other of my loans and empty promises dates/times of commitment letters that are taking forever to be issued.

As a result I was a bit loud and voiced my disapproval of the department and their empty words. There will be two outcomes of my actions, as a result of my actions, all my loans are now moving much faster, however I will be in a bit of a pickle tomorrow.

Either way, rest assure, your loan is in the
UW line, I saw the flood search completed last night, and if I am not employed as of tomorrow, your loan will move through. At this point the stress is too much in this business and something had to be said, it has become a very tough business the last two years, and not understanding the business model makes it even more stressful on my end.

If I am no longer in working capacity tomorrow at this bank, I will have all the contact information of my accounts manager sent to you both for continuation of the loan process.

Is he joking with us? like hahaha i got loud with them i might not have a job? or is this serious that now a week before we might not have a banker!!!

unfortunately in this economy he could very well lose his job for voicing his opinion.

DH works in finance and everyone walks on eggshells every day in fear of losing jobs.

I still say try to get the contact info for the underwriter.....at this point it is out of his control and the UW has the control over your file.

OMG! What the hell? What bank are you using? At this point it may be faster to start the process with another bank.

I feel bad for the guy. It sounds like he might lose his job because he opened his mouth. While the email is a bit on the candid side and totally unprofessional you can hear the frustration in his tone...finance is tough right now.

well we officially heard that our loan was approved, but now its just back and forth getting everything else that is needed...the bank has to contact our employers etc...

still no date, but at least things are rolling...

they are estimating wednesday which kinda ***** because that is the day we have to be out of our apt...it would have been nicer to not have to move out completely to have to move in right away!

we also might of gotten an extenstion if for whatever reason we can close by the 31! so we shall see

Glad to hear they're moving on it!!! This is a good update!!!

I suggest pods if you have to be all moved out but can't move in yet. That way you can fill them up in a parking spot and they'll move them to the new place so you can be all ready to move the stuff in without having to deal with storage. A few days shouldn't be too expensive (but you never know). Good luck!!!!
