Sounds boring but so yummy.
I actually buy a london broil and cut it up into small peices.
Mix it with about 6 TBS italian dressing.
1 tsp crushed red pepper
and fry it in it own juices. No oil needed.
Sautee some onions and bell peppers

place meat and some provolone cheese in subroll and toast in oven till cheese is melted. Quick and oh so yummy

I've made this one a couple times from allrecipes.com- very yummy!

Blue Cheese Crusted Filet Mignon with Port Wine Sauce

INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup minced white onion
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
3/4 cup low-sodium beef broth
1/2 cup port wine
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
4 filet mignon steaks (1 1/2 inch thick)
3/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
1/4 cup panko bread crumbs

DIRECTIONS
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic and thyme. Cook, stirring constantly, until onion is tender. Stir in the beef broth, scraping any onion bits from the bottom of the pan, then stir in the port wine. Bring to a boil, and cook until the mixture has reduced to about 1/2 cup. Set aside. This may also be made ahead of time, and reheated.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Heat oil in a cast-iron or other oven-safe skillet over high heat. Sear steaks quickly on both sides until brown, then place the whole pan into the oven.
Roast steaks in the oven for about 15 minutes for medium rare - with an internal temperature of 145 degrees F (63 degrees C). You may adjust this time to allow the steaks to finish just below your desired degree of doneness if medium is not what you prefer. Remove from the oven, and place on a baking sheet. Stir together the panko crumbs and blue cheese. Top each steak with a layer of this mixture.
Preheat the oven's broiler. Place steaks under the preheated broiler until the cheese topping is browned and bubbly. 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from the oven, and let stand for at least 15 minutes before serving. Serve with warm port wine sauce.

Re: Recipes- Anything Beefy?

Rib Eye Steaks with a Soy and Ginger Marinade
'This is a great marinade for steaks, and is wonderful for beef strips for stir-frys.'

PREP TIME 10 Min
COOK TIME 10 Min
READY IN 1 Hr 20 Min
Original recipe yield 4 steaks

INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup real maple syrup
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
1 teaspoon mustard powder
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1/2 cup beer
4 (10 ounce) beef rib eye steaks

DIRECTIONS
In a medium size mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, maple syrup, garlic, ginger root, mustard powder, sesame oil, and Tabasco sauce; mix well to blend. Now add beer, and stir lightly to mix.
Prepare steaks by scoring any fatty outside areas on steak with a knife, (this prevents the steaks from curling when barbecuing). Place steaks in a casserole dish, and pour marinade over. Using a fork, punch holes in steaks so that the marinade penetrates into the steaks. Turn steaks over, and repeat punching holes.
Cover with clear wrap or foil, and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or longer. You can also refrigerate and marinate overnight.
Prepare and preheat barbecue to high heat. Place steaks directly on grill and sear one side for about 15 seconds. Turn steaks over and cook for about 5 minutes, then turn over and cook for another 5 minutes for medium-rare, depending on thickness. Test for doneness by cutting into the middle of the steak.

Re: Recipes- Anything Beefy?

OMG you ladies are making me hungry !! I amthinking about being really bad and getting a manhattan for lunch (roast beef w/ melted mozz on a garlic toasted roll) every deli has it's own name for it.

For dinner:

How a bout a quick stew. Pick pone large sauce pan/stock pot. This is a one pot meal ladies. Chuck beef cubed or cut up a cheap piece of steak..don't use the expensive stuff for this. Brown it up in a large pot ! My mom would pick any 2 of the following: 1 can tomato soup, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 packet onion soup mix or 1 can/jar of brown gravy. I know sounds weird but I promise it works (FYI..I really dislike mushrooms, but still use the mushroom soup, NO chunks) add one -2 cans of water depending on how thick you like your base. Add cut up potatoes, carrots, corn, string beans, etc. Frozen, fresh, canned whatever. let it cook for at least an hour and you are done. Sounds weird but stew in this weather is good !! Serve w/ salad and bread/egg noodles or rice.. whatever you like
