I bought DH this box of oatmeal b/c he wanted it, and he has now decided he doesn't like it! So I have a whole box of oatmeal, and I don't know what to do with it (I HATE oatmeal)
Anyone have any good recipes that use instant oatmeal? I looked online a bit and found an interesting Sandra Lee recipe that is an apple crisp type thing, but I would also like cookies perhaps?

Oatmeal cookies! Or some sort of muffin!
I love oatmeal by the way and eat it every day. Wait do you have the quick oats?

Quaker has a recipe site
They might call for the real oats and not instant, but I'm sure you can throw in some instant and add less liquid.
there were some here too for instant- some muffins. mmmm muffins!
Hm, they're flavored... maple sugar, banana, and cinnemon apple. maybe the cookies on there, i'm going to try them.

do you like egg whites?
Eh, I'm a yolk girl. What is it tho?
basically you make it like a pancake, mix the packet of oatmean (flavored in best) with either 1 or 2 eggwhites and cook it like a pancake. it's very yummy

Top Chef had a quaker oats challenge last week. Maybe check out the website, they usually post recipes from the shows.

I can do egg white if its mixed with something, I can't do straight up egg whites, so this might be good!

it just basically binds it, very yummy, sometimes a little maple syrup on it too is good
