Recommend your Wii games.

DH bought me (really us) a Wii for Christmas. Last night we were lucky and after 3 stores found Mario Kart and Wii fit which I really wanted. DH also bought Madden 09 which is totally a game I can't see myself getting into.
I will tell you I truly was like a kid at Christmas when I opened the Wii. I was shocked, surprised, and so excited some would have thought I was 5 again.

So what other games are you addicted to?

TIA

where did you find mario kart and Wii fit? we also went on saturday to look for those 2 but they were sold out.

well i bought a fishing game, it comes with a rod. I am obsessed with fishing games lately i dont know why lol. DH has this fishing game on his iphone and im obsessed so when i saw the fishing game had to get that haha and the rod is pretty cool

we also got tiger woods golf and a Fifa soccer game. We had bought BIL the house of dead game which was highly recommended, comes with a gun well you buy the gun separately actually. They have an iron chef america game, i am curious about it but havent heard anything about it, not sure if you would be interested in that.

I love the boxing game that comes with the Wii but they also have other boxing games to buy and it really gives you a workout for your arms.

I love Cookin' Mama...it's a lot of fun and really uses the Wii's remote and cool features. We also got Mario Party and Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz. They are good party games and are the most fun with a lot of people. Those are the ones I actually play. Also on the wii you can buy games and so we bought like old school Mario Brothers and I still play it all the time. You will love the wii.

We finally found Mario Kart and Wii Fit at Target in Westbury-we had gone to Best Buy and Walmart first. They had quite a few Mario Karts and supposedly we got the last Wii in stock.

yeah we went to best buy and i had said we should go to target but the target by us was a ZOO bc its by queens mall so that whole area was so bad, it was bumper to bumper traffic way before you even get close to the mall, it was insane so we said forget it lol. Im gonna go during the week, hopefully they'll have it.

I know what you mean. Since we moved we have to get off the LIE exit that is the same for the mall and it has been horrible the last few days coming home from work, that I actually take the longer way and take the Jackie Robinson or go one exit over and come around!!
DH HATES shopping at Queens Place or Queens Center because of it. and ironically it was where he ended up getting the Wii.
Last night we wanted to try Famous Daves with some friends so we just shopped all the stores nearby until we found it.

yeah i stay away from there during the holidays. About 2 years ago i went to queens mall around xmas time and NEVER again lol. It took about 30 mins to go done 2 blocks, and took me like over an hour to get home and i live 10-15 mins away lol. Its stupid bc they close off the blocks in the back of the mall which is where most ppl go to park in the garage, makes no sense to me why they would close off blocks during the busiest time, so stupid. But yeah even by the LIE is even worse, i get stuck in the traffic alot and its always a zoo but last week was just out of control

DH and I have been obsessed with Mario-Kart ever since he got it for Xmas. We love playing through the wifi against other people around the country. It shows how truly bad we are at the game. LOL

---

LOL I have played it before at a friends house and knew it was a must have. I am slowly getting better too, I am practicing a bit more before I go online and find some Wii friends!!

Wario Ware Smooth Moves is sooo much fun. It's a great party game.

We may rent some games before we buy them just to see if they are us, we will try this one if they have it. I wanted to get Family fun night for when we have friends over.

If you purchase Wii points (either through the WiFi on the system or cards from stores) you can purchase the original games directly through the system - no actual disc. There should be a shopping channel on your Wii menu. I plan to buy all of the original Mario games.
