so i told you ladies that i am leaving my current job in a few weeks.....
well anyway the receptionist at my current job asked me to take her resume to my new job and put in a good word for her and/or keep her in mind if i hear of anyone hiring bc she too is unhappy working here....
here is some info on her past working history with me.....i started here in September and since then she has called out 8 times, had to leave early for dr appts about 5 times, and had to leave early for her son or family things about 5 times as well. i understand when you have health issues u need time off and when your son needs you, you have to do what you have to do....but she also only works part time, 1 full day and 3 half days a week....
anyway my question is would you recommend here to other empolyers???
i feel bad but i honestly dont think she deserves my recommendation, if i hear of a local job for her i would tell her, but i dont think i could personally put my name on a recommendation for her......

Sorry, but just based on her history, I wouldn't want her to be associated with me at a new job.
I would tell her that you gave them the application, but they said they weren't hiring right now and they wouldk eep it on file maybe?

sorry, but i wouldn't give her a recommendation. if she keeps the same stuff up, it'll look bad on you.

I wouldn't. I think people like that would make you look bad when you recommend them.

Given her work history, I would not recommend her. Would not bode well for you in your new job. If she were a stellar employee, then of course a recommendation would be warranted.

She may end up making you look bad...
It's a little evil, but why not take her resume and then tell her you handed it in and then say they're just not hiring...

No, sorry but I rarely reccomend someone to a job and the last couple times I did, they made me look bad.
