We've only used the $200 food processor a couple times. Why does it grind the food into the smallest possible particle? I guess I really just wanted a food chopper...
We also haven't used the slow cooker yet. But, that was only $40 and I've heard they they are really useful.
We haven't used our $125 set of demi cups and saucers, yet. Nor, have we used our espresso machine ($100). But, our families are Italian, so I'm sure that these things will eventually get used a lot.
$70 pitcher that matches my casual china. Will I ever use that?!
$45 chrome drink mixer. We use our blender a lot, but I don't think that we needed BOTH a blender and a drink mixer...
It just nauseates me to think of all of this wasted money $580 plus tax in merchandise that is virtually untouched! (In addition to all of those non-registry items that are still in the boxes they came in)

many of our thngs are in rubbermaid storae bins waiting for when we buy our house. But of the things I HAD TO HAVE and feel I probably should have left off the list...
Ice Cream Maker... I really liked this and used it a few times but it takes up a lot of space...
Salad Spinner.... This is a great gadget but I barely use it.
Items I love..
Slow cooker is awesome. Prep everything the night before in the ceramic dish, plug it in and when you get home dinner is ready.

Wow...I just realized how much stuff we got that we haven't used yet...

the coffe urn is still in the box and so is my toaster oven...we had one(toaster oven) and even know it's old it still works. Our bar glasses are still in the box too!

I love to cook so I use just about everything very frequently - my Caphalon set, Kitchen Aid mixer, food processor, dishes, etc. I have only used our waffle iron twice but I'm glad I have it.
Our Waterford glasses are at my in-laws until we buy a bigger place, so those are the only things we've never used.

Wow. I think we have used everything, except a teapot that goes with our everyday dishes and our good silverplated flatware. I just haven't had enough people over who all wanted tea (or all wanted the same kind of tea). Maybe I will use it as the winter progresses.
I love using my kitchen-aid mixer. I use the toaster oven all the time. I love my pots and pans. My corningware is awesome.
I only have 7 place settings of my china, so 6 of them are displayed in the china closet (it only has six opening for china settings, anyway). The crystal is in there too.
I say give it time. Some things do become useful as married life progresses. I never thought I would need the 42 cup coffee urn, but it really comes in handy when you have people who like to drink a lot of coffee.

Haven't used the Quesadilla Maker... thinking of possibly returning it... haven't used the Food Saver either but we'll definitely keep that. We got a Gizmo can opener and we still use the manual one while the new sits in the box!
I was thinking about doing the same thing today I love it, I just will never use it. DH is always on phase one of South Beach, so' he'll never eat them!

my china, but I love having it and will use it...one day.
I didn't register for it but got it anyway...the Roomba...I never use the damn thing...it doesn't get every area of the rug!

I used my big mixer 1 time..I have never used my tea kettle-I hate tea I don't know why I registered for it...I have never used my blender yet I am sure I will one day...some of my baking pans and racks...I have more stuff in my spare room closet that I don't even know what is in there now....I put it in there 1 year ago....
