REGRETS

Do any of you have any regrets from your wedding day (besides spending ALLLlllll that money?)

I actually don't regret spending all that money. In my opinion, it was worth every penny.

I don't have any regrets - but there are some things I would have slightly changed. Nothing big though.

oh wait - here's something. I regret believing the guy at the post office when he said the invites would be hand cancelled. Since they weren't, the wax seals broke up and pretty much destroyed the invites.

If you use hot glue instead of real wax your seals can withstand the Post Office machines- just a quick FYI hint.

My only regret is that I didn't hire a cake decorator instead of trusting the Hamlet to have my cake correct. But my wedding was worth every penny. I have NOT one regret.

I regret that I didn't find this website earlier in my planning!
I liked my photographer, but would probably have picked a different one if I was choosing now.
Also, I regret that I didn't persist more with my MIL when she invited soooo many guests. There were too many people at my wedding that I (personally) didn't know. And this meant (a) sharing my day with strangers and (b) spending almost twice as much $$$ on my reception than I should have. Now that we are trying to buy a home, I totally regret that.

i wish i would have cherished walking down the aisle with my dad more, I was so excited and caught up looking back at everyone looking at me, I wasn't concentrating on he and I. Also, my brother did a reading and made a slight mistake, for some insane reason, i let him know it by the look on my face - you can totally see he felt so bad on the video, I get sick to my stomach when I think about it. Oh, lastly, having a receiving line, since it was raining. we did just he and i thinking it would go fast, but it didn't and people were stuck out in the rain waiting for us.

Really, not one regret. But, yes, I would do things a little differntly. I am a lot older and wiser now that I've been on LIWeddings more.

No regrets at all, and that includes spending ALL that money. Since I was 5 years old I dreamed of having a big wedding and that is exactly what I had. Wouldn't change a thing.

I dont have any regrets either. I think the $$ I spent on the wedding was well worth the day.
I would do the same thing all over again if I had the oppurtunity

I dont regret spending the money we did. I loved my wedding so much and felt it was all worth it in the end. My only regret would be with a couple of vendors that I booked that turned out to be disappointments to me. Other than that, I was happy with the way the day turned out.

I'm also not upset that we spent all that money. It was well worth the day.
The only thing I may have done differently was hire a different photographer and maybe go with Wild Rose for video. We're both very happy with the quality of the photos, but after seeing some other people's, I might have looked around a little more.

My only regret is that I bought refubished table cameras off ebay. Half of them didn't work and the others took horrible dark pictures.

There are a couple small things I may have done differently but I have NO REGRETS (including the lots of money spent!!!) It was truly a wonderful day. Sometimes I wish I can do it all again but then again it probably wouldn't be as wonderful!

no regrets - Especially about the money. It all makes sense and comes together that day. And the money just seems so sort of insignificant – it’s truly amazing how quickly you get back on your feet too! Before you know it you are back to manicures and buying bags!

The only thing I regret is my DJ choice. I still wish we had splurged for the band – though I don’t know if we could have even FIT them! But if not a band – definitely a different DJ.

Regret not having a video - especially of the ceremony, but still don't regret not spending the money it would have cost

Wishes (not regrets) for things I would have done differently -

Wish that the tables for the bridal party had been set up the way we asked - next to us, instead, they had us on a raised platform all alone.

Wish that the DJ had called DH and I to center floor to dance to the song I wanted to dedicate to him - instead, they just sort of announced it and I couldn't get DH's cousin to stop yakking so we could dance to our song.

Wish I had more time before the ceremony, and that the photos before and during hadn't seemed so rushed - but they still came out great!

I just wish I relaxed and took the whole day in! Everything happened so fast that it seems like a dream! I want to do it all over again!

No real regrets ... but I would have done a few things differently. If I would have found this site earlier , I definitely would have gone with Shamma's photographer!

Shammas photographer was booked on my date as was alot of others. I started that searchh too late in the game.

My only regrets ... small ...

I regret not taking more pics with groups ... I never got a friends group pic, my cousins or my work friends

I regret not making it to more of our cocktail hour! The food was soooo amazing ... & I missed most of it! Thank god for video ... at least I got to see people enjoying it!

I also regret not finding this site earlier in my planning! Maybe I would have had a better limo experience!

Other than that ... We had the best day! No regrets on the $$$$ ... we were happy with (almost) everything!
