I'm just wondering out loud here...but did anyone else have wedding regrets a few weeks after, like after all the dust cleared?
I had such a beautiful wedding, and such an amazing time...but now the 'what ifs' are starting to creep in to my head, what if I did this differently, what if I chose this instead of that...did anyone else have these feelings? Or am I just going nuts?

Re: Regrets?
Hmm ... I didn't, but I don't think it's uncommon TO have things you wished were done differently. I just don't feel that way - but I am pretty sure you are not the only one.

Nope, not a one! I think that was the beauty in having so much time to plan - I did everything exactly the way I wanted.

Re: Regrets?
I don't have any regrets but I WISH I could have had my hair stylist change my hairstyle mid way....would have loved to switch it up just to have both all up and half up styles in my photos.

I do have regrets but they die down a few months later...I wish I had taken pictures with each of the tables, I wish I had a logistics plan better for the day of and day after, I wish I had 2 DOC's I wish I had gotten so of my must take photos that were missed but you move on and I still had a wonderful day no matter what.

Re: Regrets?
Definitely no regrets other than the 'what if' I chose a different photographer? I think I may have been more happy with a different photographer.
I haven't even picked out a TY picture yet; just not ready to 'deal' with the whole picture thing.
We still had an amazing day and I wouldn't really change anything other than this.

Re: Regrets?
I had one regret with a certain vendor but at the same time didnt really think about it because what could I do at that point...
but besides that i had no regrets. I love everything i did and everything I chose. If i had to redo it i wouldnt change a thing.

Re: Regrets?
I think it's normal to have regrets, and normal to have none! Everyone is different. I do have a few regrets:
1. Wish I had the balls to eat my videographer deposit, and hire a more cinematographic company with multiple cameras, like Pennylane.
2. I wish I had thought to move my formal pictures to the foyer of the Royalton. They would have looked a million times better there and I didn't think of it until after the fact.
3. I wish I had left my veil on through my grand entrance and first dance.
I think that's it!

Re: Regrets?
I don't regret anything. I had everything I absolutely wanted for our wedding, thanks to my parents I didn't have much of a spending limit so I was able to splurge on mostly everything. Everything turned out beautiful and I can say I was 100% happy with every single aspect of the planning and the wedding

I don't regret a thing!!!! I loooooooved my wedding so much it was everything I dreamed it would be and more
I guess my only what if is....what if my mom and sister had paid attention when the seamstress showed them how to bustle my gown the right way.....then the bottom wouldnt have had a little sweep all night. But that was not a huge deal at all i just had to lift my dress up a bit to dance

Re: Regrets?
honestly no regrets here....we really had an amazing and totally unique wedding I wouldnt have changed or altered anything and my vendors felt like family and they seemed like they enjoyed being there and had just as much fun as we did....the only thing I would have done was get my flowers preserved...I skimped out last minute and I regret it everyday!

Re: Regrets?
1. I regret who I chose for my MOH - she really turned out to be such a disappointment ( I may end up venting about this before the year is over)
2. One particular vendor whom we are still waiting for money from b/c of a f-up on their part. Once we get the last payment - whoooooooooooooaaaaaaa---just wait till I post my review - it's one of the main reasons I havent posted ours yet - b/c of this unresolved issue.
3. the only other regret is not spending more time going over with my photographer our 'must take' photos. Granted it was hard to do it b/c we live off LI & I did email him what I wanted - but it would have been better to do in person. We did get a lot of good shots I didnt ask for, but there were a lot I DID ask for & didnt get.
4. Not necessarily a regret - but more like if we had the money - I would have wished for a 2nd photographer to get pics of DH & guys getting ready - Im a little sad we dont have any of those.

Re: Regrets?
I wish I gave more must take pics. I'm missing that pic of my bo-k with our rings sitting in it and I wish I had it. Also wish I had a pic of just my shoes...little things like that. Also wish I had more pics of us looking at the camera, I feel like I love alot of my pics but we are kissing in all of them...
Wish I took my time picking my dress. I think I could've found something a little more ME. I felt so pressured to order so it came in in time...
WISH I ****** IT UP AND GOT A VIDEO PERSON!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have little things like that...but we had a great day!

Agreed!
And to be honest-now looking back at the wedding in hindsight, it really is just 'A DAY'.
