I'm glad you posted this because when I went back there after our wedding, they told me that they don't discount the remaining items on the registry. That aggrevated me because they really should give you something back for picking their store to register at and having all these people shop there!! Macy's discounts (although they p***ed me off big time with their return policy -- horrible). Now, I swear when we registered they told me there was a discount, but I was obviously wrong. When was your wedding? I got married in October, do you think they'll still send it to me because I have a lot of stuff left on my Fortunoff registry. Funny, but every single thing was bought off my Macy's one! And I didn't pick expense stuff at all. Did they send a letter also? Oooh, I'm getting all excited because I'm itching to do some shopping (and I have $126 credit there)!!! Thanks so much for all the info!!!

YEAH???? Oh, I'm so happy to read this post because I was a bit p-o'd when we went back there after our wedding to buy things left on the registry and they turned around and told me they don't give a discount. Not for nothing but they should give you something since you did choose their store and people will be shopping there and spending money there!!! Even Macy's gives you a discount (although don't get me started on their return policy for items on the registry). When was your wedding? Mine was in October, was your's around the same time? Oh, I hope I get one because we still have a lot left on there -- funny thing, nothing is left on the Macy's one and we didn't pick expense things at all! Can you please let me know, thanks so much!!!!

When we reigistered I thought someone told me about the 10% off at the end but when I asked about it I was told no. Either way Im glad I have it now. We have some credit with them and a few things left to exchange. We were married last Sept, I think we registered in Aug 00.

I just called Fortunoff's

The lady was very nice and told me that when I registered, they didn't have this 'registry completion' set up yet (and I still swear they told me about the discount when I registered, but whatever) and that it was just implemented in January. She said she didn't know what the cut-off date was, but when I told her that I read on here that somebody who got married in Sept, got it, she told me to come in and tell the registry desk and they'll give me the coupon!! Thanks Fran M because if it wasn't for you, we wouldn't know!! I can't wait to go shopping now!!!! Kate, when did you get married?

And the annoying thing is after our wedding in Sept. we went in there and specifically asked if there was a discount b/c we were finishing off our registry. They said no so we bought everything anyway at regular price. So now do you think they will give us the appropriate discount for our purchases made back then?

I have not gotten ANYTHING from Fortunoff's

My wedding was last June, and we registered the July before. Does this mean I'm not entitled to the discount? Do you guys think that I should call, too? There is SO MUCH stuff left on my registry, so we wouldn't be able to clear it out, but 10% would really help right now!

We spoke with someone at Fortunoffs who told us this was a new thing they were doing and they would be happy to retroact anything we bought from our registry at full price as long as we have the receipts. Fortunately, we still have them so we're going in to get our 10% back!
