Reoccurant Dreams/Nightmares

Do any of you have the same nightmare or dream over and over again?

This morning i woke up to a re-occurant nightmare that ive been having for a couple years now...it happens about once a year or so...basically all of my teeth start to fall out one by one and my mouth fills with blood! Then when i get to a mirror i realize that even though my teeth fell out, all my teeth are still in place. This dream always feels so real and scares the crap out of me when i wake up!

Anyone else have these kind of dreams?

Wow, that's a scary dream. Have you ever tried looking it up in a dream interpretation book?
I don't get recurring dreams, but I do get a lot of weird nightmares. Just this saturday night, I had a gruesome dream that I was cutting off my own limbs (mainly just fingers and legs) b/c I thought I could help people (guess by donating?) Then in my dream I realized what I had done and was bawling. I woke up so upset and so grateful that I had all my limbs still in tack. No idea what that was about!

I've got several...
one nightmare I've had since i was a little girl, it's ridiculous that it still scares me considering it's about a duck, but i wake up in tears every time i have it.

I also have several dreams about losing teeth. they are the worst and always feel so real that i spend the day after i wake up constantly rolling my tongue over them to make sure they are all there and secure.

Yes ive looked up 'falling teeth' numerous times and there are so many interpretations:

1) the dreamis a manifestation of bruxism (the habitual, involuntary grinding or clenching of the teeth, usually during sleep) which I know i do tend to grind my teeth at night.

2) anxiety about appearance

3) Another common interpretation is that this results from the dreamer's fears about 'losing power'.

4) Fear of Death and Growing Old

5) Tooth Loss Dreams as Fear of Change

6) Fear of Failure or Embarrassment

7) Poor Health and Financial Instability

8) Abandonment

Re: Reoccurant Dreams/Nightmares

i don't really have a recurrent nightmare, but i have nightmares ALL of the time!!! and they are sooo vivid that i wake up in a panic and can't shake it for part of the day. in my last nightmare 2 days ago, something bad happened to DH and I couldn't help him. It was horrible!! thats just one example but for as long as i can remember, ive had very real dreams, usually nightmares. i dont sleep well. i have like..anxious sleep or something.

as far as dream interpretation, alot of information from what happens in our day tends to floats over into our dreams. and usually you can't go by what a standard book says one thing means, but rather you can try to make your own interpretation bc only you can figure out what certain things might symbolize from your life and experience.

the recurrent nature is what is fascinating about this. i wonder why some ppl have recurrent dreams!

I know I have had one dream about teeth falling out but it was around the time I had my first cavity (at 27!) so clearly it was weighing on my mind.
But I was just looking for an online interpreter for my crazy dream and saw that teeth dreams was one of the top searches.

Wow Milana
This is soo weird I dream that dream lots.
I have very messed up dreams always in color and they always feel very Real.

I also dream about me being Naked sometimes and flying

The most recent one I had last night was the DH was cheating on me w/some random chick that was on this show called the X effect.
I was watching it last night before bed and that was my result

I have been soo MAD at DH all morning and afternoon ... I kept telling him what trouble he is in! It feel that real to me and messes up my whole day

ugh chica! So scary!!!

I've had that dream a few times in the past and once I was stupid enough to tell my mommy about it. She told me it's Russian interpretation and sadly, it almost always comes out to be true. She told me that it means that someone close to you will die

Sorry babe. I don't know if that's true or not...but I've never told her about my dreams after that point b/c my mom freaks out if the meaning is something bad.

My mom had a dream of her teeth falling out right before my grandfather passed away .... so she believes that dreaming abt teeth falling have to do with someone dying soon. I hope its not true in your case. Im sorry

She told me that it means that someone close to you will die

That what I've always know it to 'mean'

Unfortunately, it seems to almost always be true....(in our case)
