I just ordered my dress and I love it but...now I'm having second thoughts about the ribbon across it which I got in champagne. I was originally going to do all solid but realized I'd lose the detailing without the different color. The dress is natural silk (like a diamond white). Anyone have similar colors to post of their gown?

I had an ivory silk gown..it was a little darker than the average ivory gown. But when i first found my dress, the color it was in was a deeper champagne color and I loved it!! (i got the lighter color for my husbands benefit)
So my point is, I dont have any photos for you but I think that color is gorgeous and the contrast will be really striking. Don't second guess.

My dress was ivory with a ribbon around the middle (also in the same shade of ivory) and white lace detail at the bottom. In some of the photos it's hard to see the bow and ribbon, because the lighting completely washes them out. I say keep the contrast.
Here are a couple of pictures, so you can see what I mean. The ribbon and bow almost blend in. Maybe this will help you see if you would like it if you decide to go tone-on-tone rather than keeping the contrast.
