Repost: Need help - how much would you have paid for these placecards?

hi everyone

i am trying to start my own wedding business designing place cards for weddings - i have done a bucnh for friends weddings (for free of course) and want to get an idea on how much you guys would be willing to pay for them (or if you would be at all) so that i could figure out pricing.

what i do is i design the place cards based on whatever theme someone tells me what to do - once they pick a card they send me the list of names and i personalize the cards for them - the completed job is given to them as placecards that are freestanding and with all of their guests names typeset onto them already.

some opinions on pricing would be great
also - should i offer that people can pick existing designs that i have already done (like the ones i am showing you) for a cheaper price (since it is less work) and if so what price for those?

Your designs are great! For me, after working out my whole budget, placecards were not a priority. I ended up buying plane ones, then glueing on a mini sunflower in the upper corner. I ended up loving the look, but got it for under $20. If $$ had not been an object, I may have been willing to spend up to $50 total. Hope that helps.

I would check out ebay to see what others are charging....also, are you selling them plain or with the names & table #'s typed in? I was thinking...maybe $.50 each for a plain card they write in the names & numbers, personalized $.75 - $1.00 each? I'm leaning towards $1.00

So if someone had 200 guests they might spend around $100 on the cards if you personalize them. HOpe this helps and isn't way out of line from what you were thinking. Good luck - great designs!

i would spend up to 100 dollars, if i love them then i would spend a little more. they are unique! good taste!!
