REPOST - Wedding album extra $?

I posted this on brides helping brides, but it might get more responses here!


When you went to do your wedding album, did they convince you to add pictures for more $? We went and we ended up adding pictures to our package and it was so much $$$$$! I'm afraid I got scammed!

We spent additional money when we put our album together as well.
I think it's fairly common

I am not sure if you read my HUGE problem with my Photographer. They talked us into the most expensive album so we could do all different things to it like put 2,3 or 4 pics on a page Put a panoramic in. THEY forgot to mention that they charge you extra for it! We did our session. It was 3 hours I was late for work we were tired of sitting there. They add everything up and it comes to 8000 extra bucks. So she told me the price and I said Id have to think about it. I had no idea that a panoramic was 195.00 and 2 pictures on a page was 65.00 We went home and were like we love the album the way it is. PLUS it took us 3 hours to do. So we paid it


I AM AN ARSE IT WAS 800.00 NOT 8000.00

Yup my Album is beautiful BUT I would never do it again. BE WARNED when looking at photographers ask them how much extra the album will be.

I am spending more, but my photographer didnt have to convince me I came in knowing I wanted more pictures than I originally contracted for!

I didn't go yet, but i can tell you that I am SURE there will be more pics that I'll add than in the contract, and will even pay 1 -2K more for the 'upgraded' album.

My photographer is AMAZING, but, very very $$$$ and constantly finds a way to charge more.

$8,000!? There is no way in hel! I would've paid that much extra! My whole photographer package was under that! I could maybe see $800, but for $8,000 it better be gold!! I'm sure your album is nice, but I cannot imagine any album that would be worth $8,000 or more.

They didn't talk us into anything, but I chose to add on extra pictures, before I met with them. I had the price list for that though.
