anyone have a certain number of pages in their contract for their wedding album and then go over that amount? I am wondering about how much photographers charge per page if you go over the # of pages in your contract - also, if thank-you's weren't included in your contract, how much were they each?? thanks!!

We didn't have a set number of pages - rather we had a set number of photos on our contract. We could choose 40 pictures, any size. We ended up chosing about 45, and some of those we did a collage where they put 2 or three on a page. We ended up going 5 photos over, so we paid a per photos cost of what we would have paid if we purchased them as enlargements. Our additional photos were either 3x5 or 5x7, so we paid that cost.

Same thing here. We didnt have a set # of pages. Our contract was based on the # of pics, and sizes.

Deb, my album in my package contained 35 pictures and stupid me never realized that wasn't nearly enough so we added and had 69 pictures, totaling another $600 more! So not happy about that and with my photog in general but that is a whole other vent. I think the extra pics were $17 per.

Photographers charge different amounts for 'extra' pages. I know Cindy had to pay Verdi per extra photo, but Mark Kauffman charges per page, not photo. I think it is a very individual business decision. Just ask your photographer.
