Restaurant Rec Please!

One of my bffs just got engaged (actually- she got engaged the day before my wedding but didnt tell me grrrr) and I'm taking her out tonight to celebrate.

Anyone know of any good places I can take her for cocktails and appetizers? I'm near grand central and I feel like there is nothinggg good around here :( HELP

or hop on the six to 23rd street and go to pipa. that would be a nice place to celebrate.
