I want to update my resume, and i just realized that all of my previous jobs know me by my maiden name.
Do I use my married name? Or should i hyphenate it, even though i dont legally hyphenate?

Re: Resume question?
I would use your legal (new) name. You can always list your former name as an alias or also known as on your reference sheet. In fact, if the job has an application, they will probably have a spot for you to write it.

Re: Resume question?
Use your new name. In your cover letter, under your signature, also write your maiden name like this (except with your name, not mine, haha):
Sincerely,
Laura Bernstein (nee Shapiro)
ETA: Also, jobs usually call for references after an interview, so if you are really worried about it, give your references a heads up after your interview :).

Re: Resume question?
Under the header of my resume I just put (formerly Meghan XYZ). My adviser actually suggested this because I was listing publications that I'd published under my maiden name.
