hiii

I used my rice cooker last night for the first time... and the rice was mushy and while the water was boiling that the frothy stuff kept leaking out of the lid.

the same thing happens when I make rice with a reg pot.

so uhm, whats the advantage of a rice cooker??

I have a rice cooker and my rice never comes out mushy. Are you adding too much water?

Re: rice cooker experts

the manual didnt make sense...

it said to use the lil palstic cup it came with

use 2 cups of water.. so i did and then it said fill it to the #2 on the line inside the rice coooker.. but if i did that, it would be 4 cups . so confusing. ill try again and use less water

i want fluffy rice like the chinese ppl havee

The usual rule is 2 cups of water to 1 cup of rice but I lessen it a bit.
