I booked the riviera in massapequa for May 14, 2004. I'm inviting about 180 people, because the max is 220 and I figured that's ok. But now I'm hearing all these other people saying how 140 is the absolute max so guests are comfortable. I'm so upset! Did any of you have a lot of guests there and if so how did it turn out? I appreciate any input greatly.

Hello there! Old Riviera bride here who hasn't made a post in a while but wanted to let you know that you will totally be fine with 180 people. The max for the Riviera is 220, that is if you put a few tables down the jet out to the right of the dance floor when you are facing the bay and 2 tables next to the bride and grooms dias on the dance floor. I had about 160 people at my wedding and there was plenty of space. I agree - please do not worry. While my wedding at the Riviera was only 110 people, I have been to a wedding at the Riviera where there were 180+ people and everything was great. So please do not worry - you will have a beautiful wedding day at the Riviera!
