DH bought me Guitar Hero for Xmas (really HIS present HRMPH) but I dont have large enough hands to hit all the keys-fingers don't spread widee nough apart so I SUCK!
But we bought Rockband recently to play with our friends and SIL and I love playing the bass and the characters are fun!
anyone else?

I love GH; haven't played Rockband yet. We have it and DH is addicted to both.

Rochkand is a little less cartoony I think than GH. Its fun! You can make the characters look like you lol which we like. Its us but cooler.

they are both effing awesome
however i favor guitar hero a little more---because i've been used to it and the spacing of the keys i've become accustomed to. on rock band the fret buttons are right next to each other and sometimes i mess up when i'm shifting back and forth on the orange fret when playing on hard or expert.
oh and the hammer-on notes in rock band are a little more difficult to see on the screen than in Guitar Hero 3

well i'm a loser--i've played all 3 GHs as well as the 80s encore like 2409382 times each.
did you play it on xbox 360? i'm pissssssssed that the guitar for ps3/ps2 rock band is NOT the same as the guitar hero one. you can't interchange them yet

We have both and I only played Rockband so far. DH is addicted to GH though.
