Our 1 Year Anniversary is coming up in late March and my Hubby wanted us to go away and celebrate but I have been so busy with other things and also TTCing. I really didnt plan anything.
So now I was thinking instead of going somewhere far and spending lots of $$$$, maybe we can drive some where and getaway for a long weekend to a resort or B&B.
So if anyone has any suggestions, please share I have been searching all over and there is too much info and not enough time, since I actually have to do some work.

As for a weekend getaway, try looking on travelzoo.com, they have great deals on weekend getaways and they are very affordable. Also try travelfleamarket.com
You can also check out www.mohonk.com, this place is in New Palz and I've heard really good things about it!

We stayed at one not long ago in Newport Rhode Island. It was great. You have your own private bathrooms as well.
It was so nice, we had breakfast on the rooftop, that over looks the water.
Pilgrim House Inn ETA: there are alot of shops & restaurants there too, its beautiful!

How about the Poconos. Ceasars Paradise Stream is wonderful. Only a 2 hr drive.
The place is beautiful and was recently featured in Sex in the City when Miranda and Steve go on their honeymoon. It's located in the Catskills and is about 3-4 hours from LI.
