RP from '07: My proofs are up!

I posted the other day about how I was dissapointed in my proofs. My parents finally convinced me to look through them again. While I am still disappointed, I did find a bunch of really nice shots.

My album

Ok I looked at em all and I can say i see what you mean. By NO means are they 'bad' pictures. You looked beautiful and there are some great shots. But they're not the type of quality or wide variety you'd expect when you pay an arm and a leg.

The SAME thing happened to us. The photos weren't 'bad' but do I feel I got every bit of my 2 grand for them? NOPE. My SIL who took our E pics could have done a better job. But thats life honey. SUX monkey butt but you got some good shots and fortunately you already found some great non-pro shots. My MIL with her crappy camera got the ONLY shot of DH dipping me during our dance. Sometimes the non pros do even better than the pros. Cheer up. They will look great once you organize them into an album in a way you like. If you need help, feel free to FM me.

That's exactly how I feel. There are a bunch of good pics, but for the money I paid, I expected a bit more quality. It's really true about the non-pro pics. A friend of my parents followed the photographer around & took the same pics, but some of his turned out even better than the photographers & I enlargements & a little album before my coctail hour was over!

I'm going to start putting together an album on Picaboo this week since I saw you recommended them.

Ok, so I read your post a few days ago about being disappointed, and like alot of the girls said, you DO have some nice shots there. You made a beautiful bride as well. I don't know what resolution of film the photographer used, but some are quite blurry .Pick out of the 100's you have, the ones that you think are acceptable.Good Luck with starting your alblum. It'll come out great!!!

I was disappointed with my proofs too...but after looking at them again...I was able to chose the best photos for my wedding album....Like you, I'm still a little disappointed....but I'm so happy that I had family and friends who took some really nice non-pro pics...and from what I can see you have some really good non-pro pics too..which you can enlarge or make albums too...

That's what I don't understand & it's the main reason that I am disappointed by the proofs.
