RP Help Girls (Job related)

Ive been looking for a teaching job for 2 years and its very hard to find and get hired. I went on two interviews today. One was for a tutor position 30 hours a week ok pay, no benefits. Not sure if I get it yet but I find out Wed or Thurs.
Then just for fun I went for a paralegal interview (what I did before) and he offered me a great salary, full benefits 2 weeks vacation. I dont know what to do?? Do I suck it up and take the lesser paying job, Do I substitute until something comes up? The main thing is if I take the paralegal job he wants it to be long term. He offered me the salary more than a teachers salary so that I wouldnt be tempted to leave if something came up. HELP!!!!

i think it depends on your overall financial situation --

if you're financially comfortable, then go with the tutoring and try to substitute part time just to stay in the field you love... if not, then i'd take the paralegal job for now with the intention of staying there until you can find a worthwhile teaching job

I would take the paralegal job that is for sure.

But you have been looking for a teaching job for 2 years with a no go...how do you know that it wont be another 2 years before you are really where you want to be as far as teaching is concerned? If you are financially capable of taking the lesser job and that what you want then do that. If not I would tell him that you will stay long term but if a teaching job comes to light that you have to take then you will-he cant MAKE you stay

Sounds like you need to weight your options here. You need to decide whether a grea salary is worth you not having the job that you really want.
Will you be happy with the paralegal position? Or would you ONLY be taking it for the money? On the other hand WORST CASE, what if you do not get the tutoring job?
Also does your DH have benefits? If you got the tutoring job would you be covered some how?
