The Place and Siegerman's are great, a lot of different styles, great for browsing and getting decorating ideas. We bought our living room at The Place and we love it, and it was delivered quickly. Drexel Heritage has beautiful furniture

Sorry to nose in on the newlywed side, but FI & I just bought a bedroom set from the Bedroom Source - Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst. They had lots of different styles and the furniture was delivered quickly.

Good Luck!!!

I second Nostalgia Oak. That is where we got our dining room set, and very happy!!!!

Re: rt 110 AND FURNITURE

My father owns a furniture store on sunrise highway- he makes custom furniture out of solid oak, maple, etc.. He pretty much can make anything and it is very excellent quality- let me know if you want his info.

you can forum mail the info of where your dad is and i will keep it for when we save up for the dining room
we ordered a large armoir and two nite stands from furniturelandsouth.com

it was very nice and affordable, the places on rt 110, some had crap, not even real wood and said we had to wait 14 weeks
