how can i get rid of them?! i always thought u got stretch marks when you were really old ...but obviously not! i have them around my thighs... WHY?! i havent been bothered, but now the more i look at them the more i want them to go away.... does the infamous coco butter work?

It makes them fade a bit but there's no way to get rid of them completely.....except for maybe some kind of laser treatment or surgery

most ppl get them. not age dependent, more from not having enough collagen in your skin to accommodate any growth (i think, ill look it up).
i dont think cocoa butter or any other product that claims to work does though.
ugh, i have stretch marks in several areas. lovely!!

Stretch marks can be caused by rapid weight gain or rapid weight loss throughout your life. They are permanent unfortunately, but i heard that pregnant women use pure cocoa butter on their tummies, to prevent/minimize them.

yep got those on my hips and boobs when i went though puberty, they were ugly and red then, now they're just faded white and i barely notice they're there anymore. Unlike the stupid spider veins!@#

ALLO OVER my behind. I look like a Puertorican Zebra but DH doesnt care. They happen. Not much you can do about them if you're darker skinned like us.

You know what I liked? Just remembered this. That lotion by nivea and I think jergens has oen too-subtle darkening pigments oin it over time. I found that it didnt make the streetchmarks go away of course but using it all over my body helped give me a more even color (VERY subtle) and I didnt notice them as harshly.
A real tan would probably work as well but its not often I just hang the booty out there for the sun to worship

i know theres a really expensive product that they sell in most beauty stores(ie; ulta, sephora, etc.) called stri-vectin something or other... people are swearing by it for stretch marks...it's supposeable almost 100% proven??? dont know - but i may try it...people are going crazy over it... it's REALLY freakin $$$$$ but it has 100% money back gaurantee... Stri-vectin
i've always had itty bitty ones that u can't really notice on the inside of my thighs, but this year all of a sudden they're gradually increasing on the outside of my hips/side of behind area lol. PISSING ME OFF.
also, Clarins makes this hotoil treatment....my sil tells EVERYONE she knows to use it on their stomach when they get preggo ...and seriously everyone i know who DID use it, NEVER GOT STRETCH MARKS...so maybe use this as a preventative for the future...
bottom line is moisturize moisturize....i'm so guilty of not doing it 'cause i'm lazy or in a rush...but everyone i know whose slathered themselves with lotion for forever never got 'em!
