Re: Saddle Rock Apartment
I went to see them a few years ago and thought they were very nice. Didnt they just do some construction there? The same builder of my parents condo built those apartments. Very nice! Enjoy!

Re: Saddle Rock Apartment
I was dead set on moving there (we were at spruce pond before) but the wait for what we wanted was sooooooo long!!! We moved into Alexan brookhaven instead. They were brand new and had TONS of different floor plans and great amenities. Did you look there by any chance?

Re: Saddle Rock Apartment
No, Brookhaven is too far. My FH travels to Queens and I work in the city. Holbrook is as far as he wants to go. We applied in January to get a 1 bedroom upstairs for May.

Wow, I just checked out the apartments in Brookhaven. Too pricey for us. They are gorgeous though. What features!!!!!

Re: Saddle Rock Apartment
Kathy, I love living here, except my friends all live in Nassau. Alexan is only 4 more exits up on Sunrise! Too bad you can't be my neighbor!

Re: Saddle Rock Apartment
My DH's sister and her husband used to live there and they loved it. We almost applied for an apartment there but, as was said before, the waiting list was pretty long. We weren't too flexible with the move-in date. It was also a little further from my family than I would've liked to be. We decided on the Fairfield Landmark townhouses in Port Jeff Vlg. It's a bit more expensive but we have a two floor apt., loft, 2 bathrooms, tons of closets, eik, dr, lr, cathedral ceilings in the BR - Really nice. We also checked out Avalon in Smithtown but they wouldn't let us see the apartment before we moved in - I didn't like that. Saddlerock is definitely really nice and a great price for what you get. I love that they have a movie theater there! Good luck!!

Just wanted to add . . . I see you're getting your hair/makeup done at Christopher Jon's - It's right across the street from Saddlerock - That would be dangerous for me - I'd be over there for massages and facials all the time! My DH's sister used to work there so she didn't have much of a commute when she lived there.

Yes I know, very dangerous. I love Christopher Jons. We signed our lease yesterday. They are so nice. Time to look for furniture.
