Sayville

We placed an offer on a house in Sayville, and we really like the area and have only heard good things. So i was just wondering if anyone had any input on the town, schools or anything like that?

good shopping food etc. My dad owns an italian food store & brick oven pizzeria in bayport which is the town over, so im over there like everyday

I agree! I live in Patchogue a few towns over but it's a much nicer town than Patchogue to hang out. DH and I always go to the Sayville Modern Diner and then out to the movie theater there-it's small but it's nice. There's some really affordable houses there too. Good luck!

I agree! I live in Patchogue a few towns over but it's a much nicer town than Patchogue to hang out. DH and I always go to the Sayville Modern Diner and then out to the movie theater there-it's small but it's nice. There's some really affordable houses there too. Good luck!

I live in Patchogue too, haha - I'm basically in Holbrook, but I work in the school district so I know the full range of Patchogue.
I've been into Bayport a lot, but not so much into Sayville. I know it's very small, and I hear there are no 'bad parts', but there's gotta be something, haha, just trying to get more info, so thanks!

I grew up in holbrook Now I live next to the 5th pct

I seriously have never heard anything bad about sayville

A few of my colleagues live there and love it. I would live there if I could lol....I got married at LE in Sayville. Love the town-there are great restaurants and an awesome bakery (Audrey's-they made my wedding cake !!!) It's near the water and it's a great school district too. Good luck... great choice!!!

Funny how close by we all live to each other!

I worked in Sayville and grew up in Oakdale!
Sayville is a beautiful town with good schools! Just be careful what street you buy on. There was a problem recently with them housing certain people on a few streets, and there were problems. I think one of them is near Roll stone ave ( im not 100% though) If you google it, you should be able to find out. Good luck!

Oh and the town is so cute! Plenty of parks, near the ferries, and all of sayville is like no more than 2 miles away from the town beach! Its a gem!
