Every year I try to find the scariest haunted house and so far I haven't found one. They are usually just ok or I'm laughing during it b/c it's not scary. Anyone know any really good ones on Long Island?
I have never been so I can't say if it is scary or not, but have you been to the one in Bayville?? I really want to go this year. I know there is one is wading river as well, but again never been!!

the ones on long island aren't as awesome. if you REALLY want to be scared i hear there are good ones in Newburg & tuxedo, ny.
also the haunted house that used to be a prison in PA is supposedly scary as hell.
I think the one in Tuxedo is called the Forrest of Fear or something--and it was voted #3 scariest haunted house in america by some magazine.
I've done Darkside in Wading River 3x--its good for your 1st time, but after that its all the same.
Blood Manor in NYC -- suuuuuuuuuuucked so hard I was pisssssed
If you ever go to Niagra Falls go to their haunted house 'Screamers' It's crazy...you are in the the dark (a maze) and have to follow read lights. You have peopl coming after you with knives and you have some sort of thing growl and lick you...it's crazy!

do you have any idea what part of PA that prison is in? I think DH would love this, and especially now that we watch the show Lock up RAW about prisons and he loves halloween it would be a good idea.

when did you go, right before halloween or beginning of october? Dh and i havent gone to his house in the poconos in a long time so might suggest going real soon and doing this on our way to make it easier.
