I'll tell you what happened...it's called 'lack of parenting'...it seems like so many kids these days get everything they want...and are never told 'NO!'
They have no boundaries in life & the parents take no active role in providing them....which gives them no sense of fear of authority or consequences of actions...
My second set of blame goes to the media...more & more violent content becomes the 'norm' that people are desensitized to horrendous acts because they see them as common place on a daily basis...

awww...thanks Heather...i don't have the patience for them...spending time with my niece & nephew...who i love to death reminds me all the time...hahaa

Saw that story this morning, all I could think was, holy carp, if that was me in 3rd grade i'd be BEGGGGGGGING the po-po to take me, at least with them i might survive. My parents would've killed me stone dead. I sh*t you not.
omg that is sooo scary i teach seventh graders and can totally see them doing something like that. It definitely has to do with the wonderful parenting they receive - i just ahd this talk with one of my friends today - its disgusting that parents encourage tehir children to act liek this. i actually had a parent say to me the reason why my daughter's behavior has been bad lately is because i todl her to be as rude as possible because i was mad.....what was she mad over? her daughter came to school late and i.........shock, shock, marked her late - could you imagine?

Kat's Kamp will only cost you $5k per week...hahaha...
My parents would've beat the crap out of me too....hence WHY i never did stuff like that...fear of authority...aka Mom & Dad! Bring back spanking damnit!!! haha I'm not saying...beat your child unconscious..but a tap on the butt to get their attention.
