ok, please enlighten me.... I was forced to buy scented tampons the other day because that was all the ghetto duane reade near me had at that time.... but I am alittle uneasy about putting perfume in my hoo-ha. Why on earth did they invent such a thing!? Do men really get close enough to smell the perfumed tampon while the woman has her period? Maybe I am just naive.. or possibly stupid... which is why I need your help... please explain

I guess some women emit an odor when AF is in town.
I would never use them, sticking perfume in there can't be a healthy thing.

Noooooooooooo I would say the scent is more for the female's pleasure, wouldn't you think? Still I think its a very bad idea, I'd use pads before I used those, or even Gemmifer's makeshift maxi....

STAY AWAY! I have sensitive skin and those always gave me the WORST yeast infections and UTI's ever. I only use unscented now even if i have to go with a diff brand and the cardboard applicator. My hoo hah has never been happier
My faves are playtex, then tampax and if they ahve neither (unusual) i go for Kotex brand because they work well too.

scented tampons have always bothered me, scented feminine products in general bother me b/c they all smell the same, and they don't smell like anything else. It's one of those smells, that as soon as you smell it, you know what it is. To me, that's just as bad, if not worse, than worrying about whether you have an oder, b/c with them you DEFINITELY have an oder.
if you're worried, you should just spray your own damn scent so people don't catch on. lol

I don't prefer the scented ones b/c the smell makes me think I might stink It is kind of like spraying air freshener in a bathroom after someone went #2! That makes me want to gag

I have never used the scented ones. I've always been afraid of getting a rash or infection or something. I would say stay away and use an unscented pad if you had no other choice.

OMG.. Im so glad you are talking about this. I accidentally bought powder scented pantyliners and when I wear them it smells like Im wearing a friggen diaper!! NASTY!
