My dad was radiology tech at Montefiore in the Bronx, he's retired but maybe he'll still know. I'll ask him.

Ok, so he got his certification at Montefiore, but he said that he doesn't think the hospitals do this anymore, you'd train there but not take your actuall classes. He said CUNY has a few programs, he knows the Bronx CUNY def. has one, but he's pretty sure more of the CUNY schools have them, isn't there a Brooklyn Tech too? I think there is...... There also NY Institute of Technology. Try there. But try CUNY's website and see what you find. CUNY would be cheapest I think since you're a resident of the 5 boroughs.

ETA: Also, he said there's a regular tech degree and an advanced degree so I would make sure DH checks with his job to see how many credits (and length of program they cover), that might help him narrow down where he's going as well, if he knows how far he's planning on going with it.

My brother is going for his certification at NY College of Technology in Brooklyn. He likes it there. It's kind of expensive and VERY competitive. Apparently they all are, because there aren't many.

I also think they have the programs at St. Vincent's Catholic Medical Center- that's in Flushing Queens. Also VERY competitive.
