Seafood Restaurant Recommendations please...

DH and I have not had a lot of free time together lately, so I want to take him out on Saturday for either lunch or dinner at a nice seafood restaurant. Where do you recommend?

I was thinking maybe the snapper inn???

Any suggestions?

Riverbay..never been but I heard it was good.

I just went to this restaurant called Sea Haven in Lindenhurst, quiet but the food was good and prices were reasonable.

Riverbay in Williston Park (I think that's where it is).

There are also a few in City Island that are excellent.

Re: Seafood Restaurant Recommendations please...

The restaurant at Captain Bills is terrific. Even for land-lovers the food is great, ( had the best steak there I have had in years)

Of course I am biased because I am getting married at their Bayview house, and FH proposed in the restaurant, but hte food is good, and at dinner time it has a nice atmosphere/view

Re: Seafood Restaurant Recommendations please...

If you are in Nassau go on a Sunday afternoon all these are right on Reynold Channel and have great sunsets. The best part is if you don't like one you can bar hop to another. You can either dine in or eat al fresco. These are all located in Island Park.

Go to either

Paddy McGee's - great brunch, you sit watching to boats and munch away. Great seafood.

Coyote Grill - Southwestern plus on Sundays they have a band with free admission - food is very good. This Sunday Mystic is playing and the place gets jammed packed! Check them out they are a vendor on this board.

Jordan's Lobster - a great lobster bar, very good and cheap

Montego Bay - more of a hang out bar, the food is so so

Bridgeview - When not having a wedding this is usually open but its a younger clubby crowd.
