Selling Gold Jewelry

Hi Ladies,

Can anyone recommend a place where I can sell some gold jewelry in the Suffolk County area? I have never done this before and want to be sure I don't get scammed.

TIA

I am actually going to a sell your gold jewelry party in a few weeks.

I can give you the details after the party!

Re: Selling Gold Jewelry

I went to one of those this summer and made over $200 from just a little bit of gold If you're interested in having one here's the website:
NYgoldPARTY.com
The hostess gets a certain percentage of the entire proceeds... If you don't want to have a party, I would take your stuff to a couple of jewelers before actually selling it to get a good idea. When I was selling a ring, I went to three and the highest bidder was Maddaloni Jeweler's in East Northport on Jericho Turnpike. GL!!

There is a place on Main Street in Patchogue that some co-workers went to. It's on the corner of Main Street and Ocean Avenue. One girl made like $2000. I went to Whitman Jewelers in Melville on Rt 110, had about 1.4 oz of gold (we weighed it on the postage scale), and I made $750!
HTH.. good luck!

it's NOT too far into Nassau - but Good Ole Gold in Massapequa is where i sold mine. They were lovely to deal with and VERY fair.

The test the gold in front of you. It may say 14kt but that doesn't mean it 100% is. They test it with you there - to show you that they aren't ripping you off.
