Sent in my passport for my name change...

We are traveling to Europe in Sept and I made all the reservations with my new, hyphenated last name.

I sent it in with 10 weeks to go, a little nervous with all of the stuff swirling around in the news about delays.

I did not pay for expedited service, and I got my passport back in 3 weeks!

I guess it doesnt take as long to just do a name change!

Good to know - I have to do mine but waiting a bit, i didn't realize it was so expensive just to change the name!

Did they renew it for you too? Or does it still have the same expiration date with just your new last name.
I sent mine in the beginning of June, for renewal and name change and they haven't even processed it yet.
